Yamaha MT 15 Bike Launched in Latest Version, Now Comes With More Powerful Engine and 130KM/h Top Speed

FREE GIFT

Yamaha MT 15 has just rolled out the new MT 15, and it’s turning heads on the streets. This naked streetfighter gets a bigger engine and claims a 130 km/h top speed. Riders who loved the old model will find plenty of upgrades here, but it still keeps that raw, fun vibe.

Design

The 2025 MT 15 looks meaner than ever. Sharp lines run from the LED headlamp to the compact tail. The fuel tank now holds 10 liters and has deeper cuts for better knee grip. Yamaha added new color options—Cyan Storm and Racing Blue stand out the most. The single-piece seat is comfy for short blasts, and the upright handlebar gives you full control in traffic. At just 141 kg, it feels light when you flick it into corners.

Features

The 155cc liquid-cooled engine now makes 18.4 PS at 10,000 rpm—up from 18.1 PS. A six-speed gearbox with slipper clutch makes shifts buttery. You get traction control, dual-channel ABS, and a full-color TFT display with phone connectivity. Turn-by-turn navigation, call alerts, and ride stats show up clearly. The upside-down forks up front and monocross rear suspension soak up bumps without drama.

Price

Yamaha kept the price smart. The base variant starts at ₹1.69 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). The top model with traction control and quick-shifter costs ₹1.73 lakh. That’s only a small jump from the old bike, so you get more punch without breaking the bank.

Mileage

Real-world tests show 45-48 km/l in mixed riding. Push it hard on the highway, and it drops to 40 km/l. The bigger engine sips fuel thanks to variable valve actuation (VVA) that switches profiles at 7,400 rpm. Fill the 10-liter tank, and you can ride over 400 km before hunting for a pump.
